Sentinel Staff Profile: Alex Italiano
I’m Alex, a motivated individual with a range of diverse experiences and interests. My first full-time job was at Sportsmart, where I started as a sales assistant and later became the store assistant manager. Through this role, I learned valuable skills in customer service and team management that have been useful throughout my career.
Currently, I am working at Sentinel in support and operations. I am proud to be part of a team that provides technical support to our clients and helps resolve issues.
One of my biggest passions is Formula 1. I have been a fan since I was young and used to watch the races with my Nonno (Italian Grandfather). It’s no surprise that I support Ferrari!
My proudest achievement would have to be losing 45kgs in my final year of school at Aquinas College. It was a challenging journey, but it taught me the importance of perseverance and discipline.
Growing up, I was lucky enough to travel with my family and experience different cultures and places.

How have you found it working at Sentinel Storage Security?
It’s been amazing, I have enjoyed learning more about the Self-Storage Industry as well as being able to develop skills and relationships that I can have for the rest of my working life.
What’s your dream car?
Currently, it would have to be a V6 Kia Stinger
What footy team do you follow?
I go for Hawthorn.
Do you have a personal 5-year plan?
I am hopefully still working within the Sentinel organisation, and I am also hoping that I will be able to purchase my first house.
